About Amy

Hi, I'm Amy Rosewater, and I'm so glad you're here. Mahjong found me the way it finds most people — someone invited me to a table, I had no idea what I was doing, and by the end of the night I was completely hooked.

I started Amy's Mahjong House because I kept meeting people who were curious about Mahjong and wanted to learn to play! That's exactly the feeling I wanted to keep growing. My classes are patient, unhurried, and beginner-friendly on purpose — questions are the point, not an interruption.

These days I teach Mahjong 101 for brand-new players, host guided play for anyone building confidence, run open play nights for the folks who already have the rhythm, and bring private groups together for birthdays, girls' nights, and neighborhood gatherings around Colorado Springs.

What I really hope you take home isn't just the rules. It's the laughing, the clacking tiles, the friendly rivalry, and the people you'll meet across the table. Come learn, come play, come connect — there's a seat for you.
